Trevor Carney

Personal Trainer

Hello, my name is Trevor Carney. My background in athletics and my formal education at Sam Houston State University (B.S. Kinesiology) and Texas A&M University (M.S. Kinesiology) will allow me to serve you as a performance coach and personal trainer. I am well versed in working with a variety of athletes and non-athletes, and I am confident that we can work to improve your fitness level with Innovative Fitness.

I started Innovative Fitness with the intent to fill a void for the Brazos Valley Community. It seemed to me that every trainer or fitness professional would tell you something different about fitness and what is best for your health. I stand behind all of my personal trainers knowing that we all use a consistent philosophy with respect to health & fitness. We want you to know that whatever your health & fitness goals may be, nutrition is 70% of your results. So, if you’re not eating well, let us help you to develop a healthy diet plan to improve your eating habits. And, if your exercise routine is in a rut, we will revamp your work out program with full-body functional training — using your body for most of the resistance.

Recently, I have worked with and been successful with high school athletes of all ages and calibers to help them improve their athleticism. A couple of my most recent athletes went on from a small private school (Brazos Christian) to play Division I college football on full athletic scholarships in the Air Force and at the Citadel University.

However, training is not only for athletes! Training can help anyone improve their health. I enjoy working with people of all fitness levels to help them develop their athleticism, whether for a specific sport or just to lose weight. In addition, Innovative Fitness prides itself on giving people an understanding of how to properly maintain their bodies throughout their lifetime with appropriate weight training, cardio and nutrition.

Some of the benefits of working with a performance coach/personal trainer include: weight loss, reduction of body fat, nutritional assessment, injury prevention, and learning how to have a better quality of life through health and fitness.

I look forward to working with you and helping you to achieve your goal of getting fit, toning muscle and losing weight.

Your Trainer,
Trevor Carney

Brian McDonald

Personal Trainer

Hello, my name is Brian McDonald. I am a former college basketball player and I graduated from Sam Houston State University, ‘07 (Kinesiology). My background in sports and my formal education qualifies me to train all types of people.

I have recently worked with athlete Chris Anderson (”Bird Man”) of the New Orleans Hornets in his come-back to the NBA. By training Chris I was able to work with someone of the highest caliber of athleticism, which will help me train you. I can now analyze movement at an extremely fast pace, which helps me analyze you more effectively! I believe that with my coaching and expertise I can take any athlete to the next level; and with my passion for what I do, your mental attitude will be greatly enhanced as well.

In addition to training athletes, I also have experience training for weight loss, special needs, high risk, and geriatrics. Throughout my years as an athlete and personal trainer, I have learned how to make workouts efficient, convenient, and fun! I believe that in order to be successful, you have to enjoy what you’re doing and know what you’re working towards - that’s where my professional assistance and motivating personality will enable you to succeed!

I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your fitness goals here at Innovative Fitness!

Cameron Ramirez

Personal Trainer

Hello, my name is Cameron Ramirez. I became very drawn to physical fitness at the age of fourteen after witnessing an uncle suffer from an aneurism. This incident pushed me to seek a healthier lifestyle that would improve and extend my life. I would like to take my own experience with my personal fitness, and share my knowledge for the betterment of your life.

I am receiving my Associates’ at Blinn Junior College and plan to transfer to TAMU for a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Motor Behavior. I am certified by Cooper Institute as a Certified Personal Trainer. Even though I am fairly new in the field, I feel I have a wealth of knowledge to serve you as a personal trainer.

I enjoy working with all aspects of clientele. Whether your goal is weight loss, muscle growth, or if you’re just seeking a healthy and fit lifestyle, I believe I am able to assist you to fulfill your goals. I want to help you to reach your goals but, more so, want you to possess physical fitness to ease everyday tasks. That way you can live your life the way it was meant to be lived.

I’m also a firm believer that we can do all things in Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). So with the help of God, we can achieve and surpass your goals.

Jeremy Robinson

Personal Trainer

Hello I am Jeremy Robinson. I am a graduate from Sam Houston State with a degree in Kinesiology, which is, the study of the body and how it works. Everyone is trying to become better at something whether it be good health, achieving a better body, or performance in a sport. Being in sports, playing and excelling in many such as lacrosse, baseball, and ice hockey, have really helped put my studies into practice. Allowing me to have the “eye” for form and results no matter if the goal is weight lose, muscle gain, or physical ability.

The “eye”, which all good instructors have, is to see the little things that can improve an athlete’s form. With improved training through AFAA and Sam Houston State in areas such as functional training, weight loss, performance enhancement, and overall lifestyle changes for better health, I can help you achieve your personal fitness goals as both a friend and Innovative Fitness trainer.

Trainer,
Jeremy Robinson

Drew Johnson

Personal Trainer

Hello my name is Drew Johnson. I just moved to College Station from Dallas Texas to attend Blinn College. I am studying to receive my Nurse Practitioner ship from TAMU hoping to go into the field of Orthopedics, and I am a certified Personal Trainer through the Cooper Institute. I have been involved in athletics since I was four and continue to pursue the area with a passion. I started off playing soccer then changed my pursuits to swimming and tennis for the past six years. In Dallas I had the privilege to train members from the Marcus football, wrestling and tennis team.

Also I was able to work with two of my best friends who are United States Marines. I feel confident that I can push you towards and help you meet your individual fitness and nutrition goals whatever they may be. More importantly I am here to be your friend, to support and encourage your efforts to become healthier and live an easier more efficient life by doing things that you love.

Your Friend and Trainer,

Joshua Becker

Personal Trainer

Hello, my name is Joshua Becker and I am a certified personal trainer studying Kinesiology at Blinn Jr. College. Next year I plan to attend Texas A&M to finish my degree in Exercise Physiology. After graduating from Flower Mound High School in 2007 I made a bold decision to join the United States Marine Corps Reserves. After a year of grueling physical and mental training I was transferred into the unit at Waco, Texas. Being a Marine has truly taught me the meaning of being physically fit and emotionally stable. I am passionate about physical training and believe I can help you obtain your goals whether you are looking to simply feel better, build muscle, or lose weight. I look forward to providing a fitness program that will no doubt challenge you but will also be something you look forward to.
